“PERFORMING ARTS For Children In MULTICULTURAL LANDSCAPE”

Indonesia has 17,000 thousand islands stretched from East to West. Either we spoke 1 national

language; the Indonesian language, and each island, even each town, has its own traditional language. The cultural diversity is massive in Indonesia. But how a place with massive diversities like Indonesia, doesn’t have a firm “space” for children and their arts? Through these meetings and workshops, we would like to hear and collect different practices about arts and children in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and also by inviting TYA practitioners from other countries

that already have a firmer TYA scene. This meeting and workshop output will be presented and also have a special corner too during the festival duration as ASSITEJ Regional Workshop.
