All Ages

Warm is an investigation into things you didn't know about your family's past and how they affected the younger generations that followed. Set against the backdrop of the decolonization period, the play delicately crafted the story using a shadow theater, interactive 3D projection of old family photos, and soundscapes of voices. Dominique Roskott delves into the quest with audiovisual artists Wouter de Smit and Susan Odendaal to reveal obscure matters.

Theater Djempol

As a descendant of Indonesia and Europe during the Dutch East Indies period, Teater Djempol is greatly inspired by the forms of storytelling, sounds, and magical elements of this mixed or Eurasian culture. Our first show combined stories with live (Indonesian) music. Now, we are developing a visual theater that blends objects and puppets with a soundscape.
