Once upon a time, a human child named Apu came across a forest inhabited by creatures large and small. He was tired of playing by himself and starting to make some racket. Somehow, the racket brought him together with the forest creature. They became playmates. One day, however, Apu left and didn't show up to play. He and his forest-creature friends were separated by distance and time.

Sometime after, the forest experienced significant disruption. Its inhabitants were under threat. All that was left were Apu's playmates and a few other forest creatures.

As the seasons and forest change, so do people. Apu is now back in the forest. His arrival may define the fate of his friends. Will their childhood memories be powerful enough to restore the harmony of the forest?

This performance combines shadow puppets and mouth puppets.
